Holiday Cheer

We were FINALLY able to decorate and put the tree up this weekend! After a lot of debate of whether or not to put a tree up this year, we realized it just wouldn't feel like Christmas without one.  Our worry with putting up a tree was that Thurman would try to eat it!

Putting on Christmas music, enjoying a glass of wine and decorating the tree was a perfect way to spend our Saturday night.

During the decorating of the tree, we love to reminisce about the moments when we got the special ornaments we have.  Our two favorite ornaments this year:

An Ornament from Uncle Rick & Aunt Gayle 

An Ornament from Saratoga Springs 

(the first city we lived in together and got married in)

Someone got an ornament! 

There is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch all together with the tree lit.  I finally feel the Holiday Cheer around here!!

p.s. I do have to admit, just this once that it is soooo weird that it isn't chilly out with snow on the ground right now and I might miss it A LITTLE bit.  

p.s.s. That being said, we went to the beach today and I forgot all about that feeling of missing the cold!! More on our beach trip next time!
